Duty over antics

There are days I want to run away
And drown in my own aroma.
To inhale what they didn’t
And love whom they couldn’t.

But then I again choose to stay
And tell myself it was silly notion.
To do what they wouldn’t
And forget what I shouldn’t.

It is easy to make child like declarations. But easy doesn’t do it. Adult responsibilities although might seem like a villain trying to suffocate the child within us, but it is what builds a person.
