Fairy tales have been a big part of my childhood. I didn’t choose them. They were just there. Mom would tell me the stories about Cinderella and Rapunzel perhaps because that’s what she too had heard as a little girl. And I loved them. I still like them. Back then they taught me to be kind, hopeful and that one true love is a life goal of some sorts. But perception changes as we grow up. Life happens. Yet I still subconsciously draw lessons from those fairy tales. And here’s what they now are.
